Part of our mission is to protect and preserve the San Diego River... that means we take action when and where needed... like after a rain.
Please join us for San Diego River Days!
Organizations up and down the San Diego River are hosting events and activities, and we are having a river bed cleanup here at Lakeside’s River Park.
Spring rains have brought historic levels of water through the park this year, and flowing water washes trash into wild habitat. Careful removal of this trash improves the health of the ecosystem and all the creatures that depend on it. Volunteers will be asked to bag trash and remove items from the river bed, placing them in provided containers.
Donations help us pay bills, mend fences, pick up trash, and keep the lights on.
These are gifts that give back – to nature, to children, and to our community.
See You Here!!
